About us
We are a group of people from Berlin and Brandenburg and come from different left-wing connections. On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Paris Commune we decided to create an exhibition.
What we want to do
We organized a traveling exhibition from 18th March to 28thMay 2021 at various locations in Berlin. With this we want to contact various milieus and familiarize them with the Paris Commune.
There will also be an accompanying program with events, music, theater and political issues relating to the Paris Commune. For example: what can we learn from them regarding the relationship between social reformism and social revolution? But also of the omnipresent domination of exploitation and war and their bloody reaction to the commune and its claims? Do we have to consider simply turning the cannons over?
We definitely don’t want to be defeated twice by those in power. Once on the street and once through the destruction of historical consciousness. We are the inheritors to the Paris Commune.
